Step 6. We were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character. - Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up. (Jam 4:10)

Step 3. We made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God. - Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, this is your spiritual act of worship. (Rom 12:1)

Openly examine and confess my faults to myself, to God, and to someone I trust. (Steps 4 and 5) (Mat 5:8)

Abandonment

Don't put your trust in other people and other relationships - that will always lead to disappointment. People come and go, and do not have control over their own actions or what will happen to them. But you can completely trust in and rely upon me, because I will never, never, never leave you or abandon you. (Heb 13:5)

Spending eternity with me begins the moment you place your trust in me, and I place my spirit in you. My Holy Spirit connects us at all times, and we will never be apart from here on out. (1Joh 5:10)

Don't be surprised that people who don't believe in me don't understand you, and can't understand me. Whoever does not belong to our Father cannot understand what he says, nor what you say about him. (1Joh 4:6)

Anger

Even when it seems like there is more going on than you can handle, I will always either give you the strength to deal with it, or make a way out of it. Just hold on, and trust me to bring you through it. (1Cor 10:13)

I know it is easy to be tempted to revenge when someone else has wronged you, especially, if you know you were in the right. One of the greatest ways to apply your faith is to respond with a blessing. Moreover, be an example to others who may be with you in times of trouble so that they can glorify the Father in Heaven. Learn to trust me with all your heart, even in trouble. (Rom 12:19)

When you are tossed back and forth by your emotions, letting them determine what you will do, you cannot expect to learn and act on the truth. Your feelings change from moment to moment, so you can only trust my word. Listen to my spirit, trust him and obey, despite whatever your emotions say. (2Tim 3:7)

Anxiety

YES, my Beloved, that WAS hard and NOT what you wanted. But I know what you NEED. TRUST Me. (Jer 29:11)

The Father ordained that everyone that He brings to Me should remain with me forever. No one will be lost that has placed their faith and trust in me as Lord and Savior. I will raise up all who belong to me in the last day, and carry them away to live with me in my kingdom. Then we will never again be apart, but remain together throughout eternity. (Joh 6:39)

Don't be unsettled by the trials you are facing. I have told you that those who believe in and belong to me are destined for struggles. But remember that I have overcome the world, so you can overcome it as well through Me. What struggle is the most pressing right now? (1The 3:3)

Authority

In everything that you do, remember that you are in my presence. I am the one who will judge the living and the dead, the one who is returning to bring his kingdom to the Earth. Because you belong to me, I expect you to act like me and represent me in front of others. (2Tim 4:1)

You never have to worry about being bold when you face opposition. I will give you my boldness with which I responded to those who questioned my authority. Plus, the mark of having my Holy Spirit in you is boldness to be a witness. Who can you witness to today? (1The 2:2)

I am the head of the Church, my body. I am the beginning and the end, the first born from among the dead, and I rule over all. I deserve the highest place in your life, your worship, your praise and adoration. Most of all, I deserve your obedience. (Col 1:18)

Correction

Be very careful to pay close attention to my words. They are trustworthy to convey my thoughts and my will without anyone adding to them. Learn them well so that you can encourage others by explaining my words to them, and especially to those who do not understand or believe. (Tit 1:9)

Jonah could not stand the thought of me showing mercy to Israel's enemies, he wanted all of them to perish even though they were warned. I know the hurt your going through because of people in your past, I don't condone their actions, but I don't approve of your Judgements of them either. (Mat 5:44)

It is easy to falsely believe that you can act one way in private while displaying another personality in public. But I see you at all times, and I am the one you should strive to please. Continually submit yourself to my spirit, and do not give in to the temptation to be quick tempered, or lose self-control, or do things which are in the slightest way untrue. (Tit 1:7)

Death

You can be confident in these things - my never failing love for you and my boundless power to complete the work I have begun in you. I didn't save you to leave you as you were, but to rescue you from sin and death. I brought you out of darkness and into my glorious light, and placed my Spirit in you to continue your transformation so that when we see each other face to face, you will be like me. (Phi 1:6)

When I come in the clouds and return for you, I will bring with me those who have fallen asleep in death who believed in me. It will be the greatest reunion of all time. Death has no sting for believers, for they are, at most, temporarily separated from each other. Who do you look forward to seeing? (1The 4:14)

You strive so hard to be known and remembered in this world. However, once you are gone, you will likely be cherished only in the hearts of those you have loved and who have loved you. In the face of eternity, the only things that will count are what you did for me out of my agape love for others. Spend your life so loving me that you will naturally love others and draw them to me. Make an eternal difference by living in such a way that others want to give themselves to me. (Psa 103:15)

Depression

You need never be alone. You are a part of my family, my body, the church, and among the members are those who are called to minister to you - if you will call out to them first. Join your faith with theirs, because I will show myself powerful when there are two or more gathered together in my name. (Mat 18:20)

Sometimes, you find your mind wandering toward thoughts of "what if" and "if only". If you will just turn your thoughts back to our Father's proven faithfulness, and rest in His care for you and His ability to handle every situation, you will find such peace. If you will quietly commit to complete trust in Him, you will find the strength you need to continue going. (Isa 30:15)

Everyone wants to be loved and accepted, but it cannot be the focus of your life. The only approval you should strive for is mine. Everyone else's approval is fickle and temporary at best, loving and giving to you only when it best suits them. My approval is eternal, so love and serve me only, and let me bring to you the people who will love and accept you as I do. (Gal 1:10)

Discipline

You can do this! Don't give up! What you attempt, by faith, I will bless. I will give you my strength when you acknowledge your weakness, and I will give you the same contentment that I had in this world. (Phi 4:13)

LISTEN and OBEY, that is all the Father asks of you. Has the Holy Spirit spoken anything new to you? If not, what was the last thing He spoke to you? What have you done to obey what He instructed? What more can you do? (Exo 24:7)

Everyone starts out foolish and disobedient, being deceived and enslaved by their desires and feelings. In the natural, selfish thoughts cause envy and anger which devolve into hatred. I do not expect perfection from you, but I do expect progress in these areas as you learn to listen to, obey and remain in me more continually. (Tit 3:3)

Encouragement

I am coming back for you. I told you before that I have gone to prepare a place for you to live with me forever. Those believers who have already passed on in death will be there with me to meet you. What incredible rejoicing there will be! (1The 4:15)

When you feel like you are sinking, I will pull you up. I will draw you out of the deep waters of hurt and depression and fear and pull you to myself. You are mine, and I will always protect you. Just call out my name. (Psa 18:16)

I encourage you to continue in diligent and earnest prayer, night and day, that you might be my channel to supply others with what they need to build their faith. It will require you listening for me throughout the day, and obeying me even when you do not understand my instructions. I want to use you in the life of your brothers and sisters. Will you let me use you today? (1The 3:10)

Faith

The world around you pursues money and material things, but you, child of God, must flee from these temptations. Instead, focus on increasing your faith in me, expressing it through love for the father, me, and others. Let others see your willingness to endure hard times for my sake, and determine to treat everyone with gentleness. These are the pursuits that bring me glory. (1Tim 6:11)

It doesn't matter what is in the heart of man - our Father can use what anyone does to further His plan and bring people into our Kingdom. Even those who stir up trouble can be His tool to chisel away at the rough spots in the lives of believers. We will use every opportunity to add to the kingdom of God and perfect those who are saved, and we will use what the enemy meant for evil and use it for good! Who is it that you have doubted that God could use for His glory? (Phi 1:15)

I have appointed you to my service, so I will always provide you with my strength. Because you have placed your daily trust in me for everything that is important to you, I consider you trustworthy to receive and fulfill my calling on your life. Continue to trust in me. (1Tim 1:12)

Fear

If you are not sure about something, don't worry about that. We will make that clear to you in due time. If it is a subject of debate between you and someone else, do not feel you have to prove you are right or have all the answers. I will reveal what needs to be known at the right time to the right people. Trust me in this. (Phi 3:15)

Rejoice in me! It is a choice you make every day. It is not a feeling, but an action that you take, a decision that you make, to find your joy in me and what I have done for you and for others. Speaking what you are grateful for is the place to start, because once you start rejoicing, you will become glad! (Phi 2:18)

The world is filled with uncertainty due to the corruption of creation, free will, and the presence of evil. But if you spend your life waiting for the other shoe to drop, you will live in continual anxiety. The only way to have peace is to acknowledge the truth that no matter what happens, our Father will always prove Himself trustworthy to take care of you. (Psa 112:7)

For Men

Husbands must love their wives sacrificially, in a way that will cost them something, especially their time. Love shouldn't be given only when it's convenient, with nothing else to do. They must make time for her, and not begrudge it. (Col 3:19)

Husbands must remember what first drew them to their wives, what made them love her. I call them to treat her as they did when they courted her, and not as though she is some type of obstacle that is blocking them from getting what then want. They need to come to me for all of their needs, and I will provide them. (Col 3:19)

For Women

I can't wait until I can hold you in my arms and embrace you. You are my beloved one, my sister and my love. (Son 2:6)

You are so beautiful to me. Everything about you is exquisite to me, because I fashioned you just for myself. Every part of you is perfect to me. (Son 4:1)

Wives should be submissive to their husbands. This does not mean being a doormat, or allowing ungodly things to go on in the home. It means trusting me with all of their concerns instead of trusting in their husband, and resting on the fact that I will handle them as I see fit. (Col 3:18)

Forgiveness

When you repented and asked for forgiveness, it was granted to you. That matter was settled, the debt owed was paid, the file on the judge's desk was marked 'NOT GUILTY', sealed and filed away forever. It was removed from your record, just as if it never happened. The judge will not take that file back out to review it ever again. That's how far your sin was separated from you, so leave it and move on. (Psa 103:12)

My desire is to reconcile everyone back to my father. I opened the way to accomplish this by shedding my blood on the cross. Tell everyone you know how they can be reconciled to the Father through me. (Col 1:20)

Before you committed yourself to me and my service, you lived only for your own selfish desires. You did not care if you angered or grieved my Holy Spirit. Now that you are mine, sin should cause you great pain and lead you to repentance. Is there anything you want to confess now? (Col 3:7)

Giving

All the blessings of your life are from the Father. Every healing you receive in your body now, the healing you are receiving in your soul, and the final healing you will receive when you are with us in heaven, are all from our Father's hand. Every sin that you commit that is covered by my blood, forgiven and purposely never again remembered, is because of our Father's love for you. Thank Him today for His never ending love and provision in your life. (Psa 103:3)

Consistently and purposely continue in prayer to our father in my name. Do it at a time when you can focus and be alert. Make sure your prayers are filled with thanksgiving as well as requests for your needs. (Col 4:2)

When you pray for others, our father is so pleased with you. It is the same way when you offer up thanksgiving to God. It is like a sweet smelling savor, a fragrant perfume that rises before him and makes him glad. For what can you offer thanksgiving to Him right now? (1Tim 2:3)

Grief

Our Father knows what His children are made of, both literally and figuratively. He formed you from the dust of the ground, as is proven by comparing the elements found in the earth's crust and your physical body. But more crucially, He understands your failings and flaws because I became a man and experienced every temptation and emotion you experience. I am the high priest that truly empathizes with your struggles, so come and share with me your heart's cries, knowing I truly understand. (Psa 103:14)

Many will abandon you as you walk along my narrow road. Do not be surprised, because some people I place in your life only for a season, only for certain lessons. Do not place your hope in anyone other than me, for I will always come to you quickly and provide everything that you need. (2Tim 4:10)

I have seen those who have tried to hurt you. There is no need for you to concern yourself with them, for I will repay them for what they have done. Release them into my hands, and return to the business of fulfilling your calling. (2Tim 4:14)

Healing

Your patience with the suffering of others publicly sets you apart. People enduring illness often feel so vulnerable and isolated, fearful, exhausted and overwhelmed. They are rarely at their best, and it would be very easy to get annoyed with them. But I call you to go with them not only one mile, but two. Forgive their ill humor or bad mood that pushes everyone else away, and move closer - close enough to touch them with my selfless, endless love. (Gal 4:14)

The past has played its part in forming who you are in the natural, but it does not have to define who you are now or will be in the future. It is important to go back for a season to what happened to you so you may face it and be healed from it, but never stay chained to it. Once I reveal and begin healing you from it, leave it behind and stretch yourself to move forward, toward my future and my calling for you. (Phi 3:13)

I can turn any situation into one that glorifies our Father and further transforms you into my image. I can even take sickness and use it for good, displaying my mighty power within you while you are humanly weak. I can open doors for witnessing that were previously shut, and provide opportunities for miracles. I am still with you, remaining Lord over all, and I will not waste one opportunity to bring you closer to me, and simultaneously reconcile the world to our Father. (Gal 4:13)

Heaven

When in a position of power, it is easy to fall into the trap of taking advantage of others. But I demand that you be fair and good, so that those who work under you see me in you, and praise their father in Heaven for you. (Col 4:1)

Through your continual obedience to Our Father, you are becoming more and more like me in character, attitude, and actions. But there is coming a day when you will see me, and you will be like me, because I will transform your body into a likeness of my glorious body. I can do that because my power can bring everything under subjection to me. Rejoice, because that day is coming. (Phi 3:21)

Because you know me, the timing of my return may be unknown, but you expect my coming. To those who do not know me, my return will be frightening. However, for you, it will be the sudden fulfillment of a long desired hope, like a dream come true. Tell me what you've dreamed of doing in heaven... (1The 5:4)

Holiness

Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, minding your own business and doing your own work. Be careful not to slip into gossip, talking about others when they are not around. There is more than enough going on in your life to keep your mind busy. Have you been talking about someone else's life or conduct? (1The 4:11)

Diligently guard your heart and mind to protect the Word I have spoken to you, and which has changed your life. The enemy wants to fill you with worldly thoughts and desires to drag you backward into your old life, but my Holy Spirit within you will help you remain in me. What thoughts threaten to make you backslide? (2Tim 1:14)

You are my witness, even to those you work with, including your employers and your clients. It is important that you be completely trustworthy, because this is how you can attract people to me. Always remember that you are my ambassador, and you represent me with every word you say and every action you take. Be honorable in everything you do. (Tit 2:10)

Hope

I stand here in heaven, waiting to give you the crown of righteousness. You have eagerly longed for my appearing, have continued to believe what I say is true, and have acted upon it. I have credited righteousness to you because of your faith in me. I call you to continue to walk in faith until the day I place the crown upon your head. (2Tim 4:8)

It does not matter who you were before, or how bad you were, or how poorly you treated others. When you come to me, I wipe the slate clean spiritually, and everything becomes new. You become a new creation, in my image and for my pleasure. I can use even your past to bring my will to pass in your life and in the lives of others. Just trust me. (Gal 1:13)

Humility

There will be times when I will send someone to correct you, because you have wandered away from the truth. It has happened to all of my followers at one time or another, so receive the reproof with humility and submission. I have sent them to you so that you will stop and take a good long look at your life, your words, your thoughts, your actions, and even your belongings, to make sure you are still in the center of my will. (Gal 2:11)

The entire purpose of your life is to reveal me to others. When they hear you speak, when they see you sacrificially give to others, when they witness my power working through you in impossible situations, and when you surrender joyfully to my will even when it is not what you want, they will see me in you. I am glorified in you when you surrender to my spirit and act like me. (Gal 1:16)

It is easy to get distracted by this world and its activities. You can forget all that the Father and I have done for you in the midst of your busy-ness. However, you need to remind yourself, over and over and over, of how He has blessed you. If you have a roof over your head and food on your table, you have more than most of the people in the world. Remember how your life is filled with benefits from the hand of your Lord. (Psa 103:2)

Joy

You will play an integral part in building the faith of those whom I will bring to you. You will be a source of hope and joy as you model your trust and belief in me through your outward actions and your words. Trust in me as I put you in situations where I need you to be faithful to your calling and my plan for your life. (Phi 1:25)

When you finally accept me as your true provider, realizing that I know your needs and love you enough to meet them, you will be able to be content no matter what circumstances arise. You will not be shaken by sudden changes in situations, because you know that I am still Lord over all people and things. If you find your contentment in me alone, you will never be disappointed, because I will never leave you nor forsake you. (Phi 4:11)

Judgement

Our father doesn't judge you the way that people do. They make up rules to make themselves feel like they are better than other people, like what people can eat or touch. But that is not from our father, who is more concerned with you expressing your faith in him through loving him and others. (Col 2:21)

Our Father knows how frail you are, how your flesh will always want to do whatever it wants, and that you continually face a battle against your own body, as well as self-centered thoughts and attitudes. He doesn't punish you for every sin, nor for your natural bent toward selfishness and rebellion. He loves you just as you are, and knows that, without His supernatural power in your life, you could never live for Him. So keep running back to Him in repentance, asking to be continually filled with His Spirit so you don't walk according to the flesh. (Psa 103:10)

Love

Don't get all caught up in the rules and regulations like the rest of the world. This is the most important thing: Are you trusting in and obeying me? Are you loving others as I would love them? (1Joh 3:23)

You never have to fear me. Fear comes when you think someone will take something away from you. I love you, so I want to give to you, not take from you. (1Joh 4:18)

When you struggle with keeping your faith, or loving others, focus on the hope you have because of your future home in heaven. Remember where you are headed, and that this world is not your true home. (Col 1:5)

Mercy

I have always known the worst about you, and yet I still saved you. It has never been about what you have done, but who you give your allegiance to. It is because of my mercy and my love for you that I washed you clean in spiritual rebirth, and made you a new creation through my Holy Spirit. Relax and enjoy a moment in my presence. (Tit 3:5)

Many people really believe that what they have been taught by others is the truth. They will act upon it with all earnestness. But that does not mean that it is the truth. Be careful to compare what others say to the truth of my word. And be merciful to those who believe not according to my word but what they have been taught. You do not have the complete truth either, so do not judge them. (Gal 1:14)

Obedience

My prayer for you today is that you will be united in love with, and encouraged in heart by your brothers and sisters in Christ. This is the only way to have complete understanding of me and my love. I designed you with a need for love, as well as the capacity to give love. But you must remain in fellowship with my people in order to experience love in its fullness. (Col 2:2)

You should speak with the assurance and boldness of those approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. You are not to try and please people, only me, who tests your heart. Pray for the words to say, and listen for my leading regarding when to talk. (1The 2:4)

Have you slipped back into the mentality that you have to "earn" my love and my power working in your life? You didn't become my adopted child because of anything you ever did for me - only because you put your faith in me and accepted my payment for your sins. I will work miracles in and around you by the power of my Spirit - just trust in me completely to do what is necessary simply because you are mine through faith. (Gal 3:5)

Patience

You cannot see everything that the Father and I are doing on your behalf in the spiritual realm. You see evil people supposedly getting away with or even rewarded for their actions, but these are only temporary. We will have our victory in the end, and there will be justice for those who have been trampled upon by the unrighteous. Trust us, and be patient as we work out our perfect will in this world. (Psa 103:6)

Especially in the hardest of times, you can experience joy from the Holy Spirit. I am so proud when you stand up for me instead of giving in to what the world expects of you, and instead cling in faith to my words. (1The 1:6)

Peace

I am breathing peace upon you. I give my peace to you so you will have it with you in every situation, dealing with every person. It is always available for you through my Holy Spirit - just surrender to Him, and trust the Father and I to take care of what is important to you. Do not let your heart be troubled over anything - trust in me and be surrounded with my peace. (Joh 14:27)

No man knows when I will come to you. It is for the father to choose the day and time. But I will come, and for those who do not know me, destruction will come suddenly. However, for those who belong to me, they will experience everlasting life, joy and peace. Who do you wish you could share my life with? (1The 5:1)

My desire is that you would be filled with my peace at all times and in every way. I am with you, so I can handle all of the problems and struggles. You are not in this alone, so relax and let me handle it. (2The 3:16)

Power

In me, you can be strong and have courage when facing overwhelming circumstances. I will empower you to live and speak for me at all times. You have no reason to be ashamed as long as I am exalted as Lord of your life. (Phi 1:20)

I will rescue you from every evil attack against you. I have promised that I will bring you safely into my heavenly Kingdom. That is why all glory, honor and praise is due to my name for ever and ever. (2Tim 4:18)

Praise and Worship

Your obedience and love for me allows me to not only bless you, but to bless those around you as well. As you refresh me with your praise and worship, and unashamedly speak about me, I will pour mercy out upon your household. Give yourself to me freely, like pouring a drink offering on the altar, and I will take care of what is important to you. (2Tim 1:16)

The world and everything in it is the rightful dominion of our Father. Every created thing belongs to Him and was meant to be an extension of his loving kindness and his power. All the works of his hand should rise up and praise Him for He is worthy of all honor and fame. Praise Him with everything that is within you, regardless of your feelings or thoughts, because you belong to Him, and He loves you with an everlasting love. (Psa 103:22)

It is so easy to get distracted by things that don't go your way, but that leads to grumbling and complaining which does NOTHING to glorify our good Father. The rain falls on the just and the unjust alike, but only those who have entrusted themselves to the care of the Father can be sure that every obstacle and hindrance can be used to make you more like me. Choose praise and prayer over grumbling and complaining every time. (Phi 2:14)

Prayer

Worrying doesn't accomplish anything. If you are going to set your mind on something, or use your mouth to say something, let it be in doing something that can change the situation. Remind yourself of everything that I have given to you for which you can be thankful, and in that attitude of gratefulness, come to me and ask me for whatever you need. This is the only way to gain peace in the midst of anxiety. (Phi 4:6)

When you are upset, the only way to find peace is to hand all of your concerns over to the Father to handle as He sees fit. Increase your faith by reminding yourself of all of the times He has been faithful to take care of you in the past, and think on every good thing He has given to you. Then, my peace will come over you, the peace that cannot be obtained through reasoning or rationalization, but only through faith in the Father's goodness and power. (Phi 4:6)

Our Father loves to hear you call Him "Daddy." When you acknowledge that He is your Father in heaven, the One who loves you more than anyone else, who will provide for all of your needs and protect you, it allows you to move even closer to Him. It is healthy to be like a little child who wants to run to his Father, because He is a Father who never turns His children away. Run to Him now and spend time in His presence. (Gal 4:6)

Pride

You do not need praise from anyone else, only from me. Even though you carry my authority wherever you go, you do not need other people to recognize that authority. Rarely did I exert my authority over others, but always served. With whom are you tempted to display your authority? (1The 2:6)

There will be times when I speak things to you that I do not want you to share with others. I simply want you to listen and obey. It will be a temptation for you to speak of it to others, in order to get their approval. But if I have spoken to you clearly, and you are sure of your purpose, simply surrender and obey. (Gal 1:17)

There are those who oppose and ridicule the truth of my word. Their minds are depraved, and they reject knowledge of me. But it is not long before they expose themselves for the foolish people they are. Let me deal with them, and do not try to change their mind. Stay far away from them. (2Tim 3:9)

Purpose

I have appointed you as my personal messenger to tell others about me. Your changed life is a miraculous sign to others proving that what you say is true. Teach them what you know and don't worry about what you don't yet know. Just bring them one step closer to me - I will do the rest. (2Tim 1:11)

Be strong in my grace; I will divinely empower you to respond to me in obedience. You cannot follow me in your own strength; you will fail every time. Instead, call upon my name and I will come to you, and give you everything that you need to accomplish my will. (2Tim 2:1)

Don't fall into the trap of setting your eyes on other people and what I am doing in their life. I have a different plan for each of you, so you cannot compare yourself to anyone else. I am at work in everyone to complete what I started in each individual, so don't waste your time trying to figure out why I'm doing what I'm doing over there. Just keep your eyes on me, and you faith in me. (Gal 2:8)

Rejection

When the father and I found you, there was nothing in you that justified you being a part of our kingdom. But we made you righteous by my blood sacrifice for your sins, which in turn made you worthy to be adopted as a child of God. And know that, when you suffer for being a Christian, you are proving your worthiness to be called a Christian. Stand firm for me, and I will deal with those that cause you suffering. (2The 1:5)

It is very tempting to give in to fears of rejection and ridicule, and change the way you act or talk around certain people. You may censor what you share about me in their presence, or possibly change how you act to better fit in with them. But you know better than this - especially around people who so desperately need you to be different than them, to be a light in a dark place, to be Christ-like among people who are worldly. Be strong and courageous, and live for me regardless of who surrounds you. (Gal 2:12)

You are just passing through this world. I know it is an extended stay, but you aren't from here and you don't belong here. You are visiting, and will return to your home of origin, heaven, where you have your citizenship. So don't expect much from this temporary location - your rewards are at home, along with your loved ones and the One who made you. Live for me, your Savior, and I will return to take you home with me. (Phi 3:20)

Repentance

If someone does not agree with you in regard to my truth, do not try to overpower them by force. You must instruct them gently, and I by my spirit will lead them to repentance, so they can enter into a knowledge of me and my truth. Only then can they come to an understanding of my kingdom. (2Tim 2:25)

Righteousness

When you placed your faith in me, your old nature died, and you were raised up to start a new life, with a newly born spirit and the presence of my Holy Spirit within you. You are clothed with my righteousness, as your sins were paid for by my death. And when the father looks at you, He no longer sees your sins. He sees my redeeming blood and my righteousness. You are clothed in me, so live out your faith so others see me in you as well. (Gal 3:27)

The truth of my words cannot be stopped. The enemy may restrain you, physically or verbally, but my word will still get out and accomplish my purpose. Memorize my words, hide them in your heart, speak them, but most of all you must act on them as the truth. (2Tim 2:9)

Road signs don't magically enable you to keep the speed limit. You can still drive as fast as you desire. The sign only reminds you that you will have to deal with the negative consequences of your disobedience. Only the Holy Spirit can can put a desire in your heart to do what is right and make it easy to obey the law. So live by faith in God, and He will supernaturally empower you to do what the law requires without having to pay attention to the law. (Gal 3:21)

Salvation

Be careful that you do not slide down the slippery slope of flesh indulgence. Giving in a little here and there moves you further and further away from the presence and power of God. Eventually, you find yourself a slave again to the things from which you were rescued and wonder how it happened. Take every thought captive and make sure it is pleasing to the Father. In the face of temptation, take a few slow breaths, pray in the Spirit, and surrender to His leading. (Gal 4:9)

My purpose for you is to be my servant, leading others to the knowledge of me, so they will trust in me. Their faith will allow me to come and live inside of them by my spirit, so that they can live a godly life. You lead the charge to bring the hope of eternal life to a lost and dying world around you. (Tit 1:1)

Security

Our father is a God of kept promises. He is faithful to fulfill his word to those who believe him. His inheritance for his children is every spiritual blessing he has to give, as well as his provision and his protection. You can't earn an inheritance - it rightfully belongs to the offspring. In the same way, you can't earn all he wants to give to you by obeying the law, it is yours simply because you belong to him. Rest in his promises today. (Gal 3:18)

Servanthood

Nothing matters but listening for and obeying me. If you want to reach your intended future, if you want to experience being in the center of my will, you need to press on with all of your might toward my call on your life. Don't let up! Don't give in! Keep going until you win your prize. (Phi 3:14)

When you came to me in faith, you were no longer held accountable to the tyrannical rules of the law. By my indwelling Spirit you are led, moment by moment, according to my instruction about what to do in every situation. So do not go back to trying to figure out what is right and wrong on your own. Instead, show that you love me with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, and show that you love those around you as you want me to love you. (Gal 4:12)

Sin

When I sacrificed myself out of love for you, paying the penalty for your sin, you died along with me to the religious laws made by men. When I rose again, you were raised as a new spiritual being, with my Holy Spirit living within you to lead and guide you. The rest of your life must be characterized by your complete confidence in my ability to take care of you and what matters to you. In what area of your life are you struggling to have confidence in Me? (Gal 2:20)

Out of our Father's love for all of mankind, he sent me, his Son, to pay for the sins of everyone. But only those who believe that my death paid for their sins, and who repent of their sins (truly don't want to sin anymore) and surrender to me as Lord over their life, have that payment applied to their debt. This is the only true gospel, and should anyone tell you that you must do anything else in order to be saved, you must not believe it. (Gal 1:6)

I am the way, the truth, and the life. You are to reflect me at all times. Therefore do not lie, even small white lies, because you will begin to resemble the enemy instead of me. (Col 3:9)

Strength

When you utilize the power I have placed in you and others see it, you point people toward me by revealing how powerful I truly am. You glorify my name when you tell others about what I have done for, in and through you. I want to be glorified throughout the world, but I want to start within your world and the people around you. With whom can you share something I have done for you? (2The 1:12)

Although it is very important for you to take care of your body as the physical temple that houses my Holy Spirit, spiritual training in godliness is much more valuable. Not only does it empower you to live for me in this world, but it also prepares you for life with me in eternity. How can you train yourself to more fully obey my Spirit today? (1Tim 4:8)

I want to strengthen you so that you will have endurance and patience. My power comes from God's glorious might, which can get you through any situation and help you deal with any person. (Col 1:11)

Submission

I saved you by my supernatural power because you placed your faith in me to save you and take care of you. But I know it is very tempting for you to also add your own rules to the mix, saying if you do this, or if you do that, it will make you that much more righteous in my eyes. But it doesn't work that way. Those rules you make for yourself actually pull you away from sincere faith in me. Put your checklist down, and instead, spend time with me to hear what I want for your life. (Gal 2:18)

Before you became a child of God through faith in me, you were a slave to a system of laws that could never save you, because you never had the power to fully obey them. But I died to redeem you, to purchase you out of slavery to the law, so that our Father could adopt you as His child and fill you with his power through his Holy Spirit so you can instinctively do what the law requires. Listen closely for his voice today, surrender to his power, and live as I did in this world. (Gal 4:3)

Suffering

Do not let bad treatment from others discourage you from sharing about me. You must sow, and leave the reaping to me. My word will not go out without accomplishing my purpose. What has discouraged you lately? (1The 2:2)

I am using everything that you are going through to transform you into my likeness. In the perspective of eternity, what you are struggling with will pass in a twinkling of an eye. However, the results of working through your challenges head on (instead of trying to go around them) will last forever. Keep your eyes on the joy set before you - being with me. (2Cor 4:17)

Temptation

The enemy may try to block your way as you work for my kingdom and my purposes. But he does not have the last say, for our father counteracts everything the prince of this world does, so that His will and Kingdom reign supreme. What do you want the father to move for you today? (1The 2:18)

It only takes a small amount of evil to start tainting everything good in your life. One white lie, twisting or omitting the truth, is a tactic of the enemy. Once you give in to him, it is hard to disentangle yourself. Reject every kind of evil - run from it. What in your life should you be turning away from? (1The 5:22)

Always keep in mind that your rewards in life and eternity come from me, no one else. I am the one you need to please, no one else. Do everything in a way that will bring glory to our father. (Col 3:24)

Thanksgiving

Pray constantly for one another, not only when you happen to think about them, but at scheduled times of dedicated prayer. Thank our father for your brothers and sisters, especially those who work alongside of you. My kingdom cannot accomplish what I purpose if you do not look out for one another. (1The 1:2)

I want you to be so filled with me that everyone around you marvels - not at you - but at me. They will boast about what I have done in your life and the marvelous transformation that I brought about in you. Everywhere you go, let your love so shine that everyone around you gives thanks for your father in heaven. (Phi 1:26)

Unity

You think that small disagreements between you and your brothers and sisters don't really mean much, but they create discord and disunity in my body. Unity doesn't always mean sharing the same ideas, but allowing others to have differing opinions. Sometimes you simply need to agree to disagree in order to keep the peace in the body. (Phi 4:2)

Discord in the body of Christ can undermine what I want to accomplish. If you know that there are members who have problems with each other, and those issues will affect the unity of the body, then leadership needs to address those issues. You are all called to the ministry of reconciliation, which includes bringing people together on account of the Gospel. They don't need to agree on everything, only agree to set aside their differences in order to serve me better. (Phi 4:3)

Victory

Do not be surprised when you face persecution. I told you beforehand that if they persecuted me that they will persecute you also. But be encouraged, have no fear, for I am with you always. Tell me what I can do to help you live for me today. (1The 3:4)

I love how much we are starting to look alike. You are becoming the express image of me in your world just like I was the express image of our Father in my world. (1Joh 4:17)

Wisdom

You know, you don't always have to prove that you are right. It causes foolish and stupid arguments. Let it be enough that you believe you know the truth, but do not try to force someone else to agree with you. Only those born-again can understand my words. (2Tim 2:23)

I am commanding you to commit yourself to reading my word and sharing it with those whom I send you. Make this promise to me now. Don't put it off for one more minute. I will empower you to keep that promise. (1Tim 4:13)

Be careful to consciously choose to do good things for God and for others. Stress to others the importance of this as well. Live before them as an example of how I would do things. Good works done as an outward expression of your faith in me is excellent in my eyes, and benefits everyone around you. (Tit 3:8)

Witnessing

There are many things that you can be proud of, but the biggest joy and greatest reward are the people you have led to Our Father by your words, and more importantly, with your life. Those who have come into the kingdom because of you are like beautiful jewels in your crown. Who else do you want to bring to me? (1The 2:19)

I can use all things, good and bad, to bring me glory. I can use the past of a person who did not believe, or who was cruel against believers, to accomplish my purpose. The transformation of a soul from angry and belligerent to loving and submissive is one of my greatest tools for bringing others to me. Do not give up hope for that one person for whom you keep praying. (Gal 1:23)

When your actions show that you belong to me, and your speech acknowledges your faith in me, you bring glory to our Father. I brought glory to our Father by being obedient to His will and pointing everyone I met to Him. Although one day everyone will have to admit that I am Lord, you bring unending joy to the Father and I by willingly, publicly proclaiming through your life and your words that I am the only way to the Father. (Phi 2:11)

Worry

When you feel unprotected and vulnerable, remember how I long to gather you to myself and protect you from what you fear. You will always find a safe place when you run to me, for I will always come when you call. I am your fortress, your deliverer, and your shield from the enemy. Come to me and let me give you rest. (Psa 91:4)
