  • Step 6. We were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character. - Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up. (Jam 4:10)
  • Openly examine and confess my faults to myself, to God, and to someone I trust. (Steps 4 and 5) (Mat 5:8)
  • Yield myself to God to be used to bring this Good News to others, both by my example and my words. (Step 12) (Mat 5:10)
  • Abandonment

  • The Father ordained that everyone that He brings to Me should remain with me forever. No one will be lost that has placed their faith and trust in me as Lord and Savior. I will raise up all who belong to me in the last day, and carry them away to live with me in my kingdom. Then we will never again be apart, but remain together throughout eternity. (Joh 6:39)
  • When I come in the clouds and return for you, I will bring with me those who have fallen asleep in death who believed in me. It will be the greatest reunion of all time. Death has no sting for believers, for they are, at most, temporarily separated from each other. Who do you look forward to seeing? (1The 4:14)
  • There will be times when I will hold you back from going to certain places, or meeting with certain people. There is a time and a season and a purpose for everything I do and do not do. Simply listen and obey, go when I say go, follow when I say follow. Trust my timing for everything in your life. In what area of your life are you tempted to rush ahead of me? (Gal 1:18)
  • Anger

  • I know people can get on your nerves, but the one thing that shows people that you belong to me is when you love others, especially your brothers and sisters in me. Ask My spirit inside of you to love them through you. (1Joh 3:10)
  • Husbands must remember what first drew them to their wives, what made them love her. I call them to treat her as they did when they courted her, and not as though she is some type of obstacle that is blocking them from getting what then want. They need to come to me for all of their needs, and I will provide them. (Col 3:19)
  • It is so easy to get annoyed and aggravated with your brothers and sisters, but you need to work hard to live in peace with each other. When you call someone else selfish, it just means they won't do what you want them to. It will take dying to yourself and your own desires and supposed rights in order to remain in peace with those around you. Who are you really struggling with today? (1The 5:13)
  • Anxiety

  • You cannot see everything that the Father and I are doing on your behalf in the spiritual realm. You see evil people supposedly getting away with or even rewarded for their actions, but these are only temporary. We will have our victory in the end, and there will be justice for those who have been trampled upon by the unrighteous. Trust us, and be patient as we work out our perfect will in this world. (Psa 103:6)
  • I want my Spirit to rain on you and saturate you through and through. Be still in my presence and let me pour my Spirit out upon you generously. In my Spirit is my life, my power, my love. Stop struggling and just soak. (Tit 3:6)
  • Don't be unsettled by the trials you are facing. I have told you that those who believe in and belong to me are destined for struggles. But remember that I have overcome the world, so you can overcome it as well through Me. What struggle is the most pressing right now? (1The 3:3)
  • Authority

  • I am your king and your God. I am eternal, living forever, immortal, never dying, invisible to the human eye, and the one true God. You must strive to live so that your life will bring me honor and glory. How can you best honor me today? (1Tim 1:17)
  • Don't be fooled by what people around you say, and fine sounding arguments. What I have to share is foolishness to those who think they know everything. But I am the source of all truth, because I am the way, the truth, and the life. (Col 2:4)
  • When your actions show that you belong to me, and your speech acknowledges your faith in me, you bring glory to our Father. I brought glory to our Father by being obedient to His will and pointing everyone I met to Him. Although one day everyone will have to admit that I am Lord, you bring unending joy to the Father and I by willingly, publicly proclaiming through your life and your words that I am the only way to the Father. (Phi 2:11)
  • Correction

  • There will always be many people who are rebellious against my truth. They are full of meaningless talk which helps no one, and even speak outright deception. The worst of these are those who claim that you must obey their rules and regulations in order to hear me, instead of simply listening to my spirit and obeying. Have nothing to do with these people. (Tit 1:10)
  • Every thing that happens in your life, the good as well as the bad, helps to fashion you into my image. Those who love you, who teach, disciple and even rebuke you, are aching to see my characteristics and gifts evident and active in your life. Surrender to me so that I may work in you, even at times when you are in pain and do not understand, because the end result is that you will be just like me. (Gal 4:19)
  • I will reveal things to you privately, however not everything is to be shared publicly with others. When you are in doubt about whether or not something is from me, then share it in private to a select few who are more mature in their relationship with me, and who walk according to their talk. Take their counsel about whether or not what you believe you have received fits into the entire counsel of God through my Word. If it is confirmed, then share it as I direct you. (Gal 2:2)
  • Death

  • For every relationship problem, the answer is love. It covers a multitude of sins, and binds us all together as one. I'm not talking about selfish worldly love. I mean selfless giving of yourself to benefit others, like my death on the cross to save you. (Col 3:14)
  • I am coming back for you. I told you before that I have gone to prepare a place for you to live with me forever. Those believers who have already passed on in death will be there with me to meet you. What incredible rejoicing there will be! (1The 4:15)
  • When you feel like you are sinking, I will pull you up. I will draw you out of the deep waters of hurt and depression and fear and pull you to myself. You are mine, and I will always protect you. Just call out my name. (Psa 18:16)
  • Depression

  • I am using everything that you are going through to transform you into my likeness. In the perspective of eternity, what you are struggling with will pass in a twinkling of an eye. However, the results of working through your challenges head on (instead of trying to go around them) will last forever. Keep your eyes on the joy set before you - being with me. (2Cor 4:17)
(Psa 103:6)
  • Although every desire you have in your heart is not in your best interest, it is still the heart of the Father to give you healthy desires of your heart. He knows that long periods spent without something to satisfy your emotional needs can crush your soul and bring on depression. But you must trust that He knows which desires will result in righteousness, and which will lead you into sin and separation from Him. He will satisfy your good desires, and they will help you soar over the struggles you have in your life. (Psa 103:5)
  • Discipline

  • It is my desire that each member of my flock is watched over by another member. That is why I assigned an order to my body, to my church. Those who are more mature in the Lord should watch over the younger ones, and train them up to be disciplined and faithful to me. Listen and wait for me to tell you how you can help someone else grow in me. (Tit 1:5)
  • Your God and your destiny are intertwined. If you acknowledge that I am your God, by humbling yourself before me, trusting and obeying me out of love for me, your destination is heaven. If, however, you are your own god, and you live to fulfill your own desires, trusting only in yourself as your supreme authority, then your destination is hell. Don't let your mind settle on earthly things, but always set your eyes on me, the author and perfecter of your faith. (Phi 3:19)
  • I created you for a purpose, with my plan in mind. You can ignore and avoid that purpose, but it is STILL your purpose. It is up to you to pursue and dedicate yourself to that purpose - I cannot do that part for you. So press on to take hold of the very thing for which you were made. (Phi 3:12)
  • Encouragement

  • Our Father has credited you righteousness because of your faith in me. But not until you are in our presence, in your glorified body, will you experience the full fruits of righteousness, meaning the ability to live a sinless life. So when you get discouraged by your inability to be perfectly obedient to me, remember that there is coming a day when you will be just like me. I always remember that your desire is to please me. (Gal 5:5)
  • No matter what your earthly heritage may be, by placing your faith in me, you have become a descendant of Abraham, the Father of all faith. He trusted and obeyed me, leaving all that was familiar to him in order to travel to an unknown location and face unimagined challenges, all because he believed that I was trustworthy and would keep my promises to him. So trust me as I send you to unfamiliar places and ask you to do unexpected things. I will not disappoint you in the end. (Gal 3:29)
  • Sometimes, the hardest people to love are those closest to you. However, these are the ones who deserve and need your selfless giving the most. Do not neglect ministry to your family in favor of ministry to outsiders. Love your family in practical ways that let them know they are important and cherished by you. (Tit 2:4)
  • Faith

  • Oh, how much joy you will experience in the presence of our father because of those you have turned toward him. Those at one time destined for eternal separation from God will dance before you in his presence, and you will see the difference that your faithfulness and love has made in the lives of others. Imagine it now. (1The 3:9)
  • The enemy knows that it doesn't take much for you to be distracted by things that you do not have, especially money. He stands waiting for the opportunity to draw you away from your faith in me because I am not giving you what you want as quickly as you want it. But anything he allows you to have will pierce you with many griefs. Trust in me and be patient while awaiting my timing. (1Tim 6:10)
  • I keep an account of how you utilize the goods and finances I have entrusted to your care. When you use it wisely and according to my will, I will increase my favor in your life. Your stewardship of all that I entrust to you shows that you acknowledge Me as the source of everything you have gained. In the measure that you give to others as I direct, you will receive from me. (Phi 4:17)
  • Fear

  • No man knows when I will come to you. It is for the father to choose the day and time. But I will come, and for those who do not know me, destruction will come suddenly. However, for those who belong to me, they will experience everlasting life, joy and peace. Who do you wish you could share my life with? (1The 5:1)
  • You never have to worry about being bold when you face opposition. I will give you my boldness with which I responded to those who questioned my authority. Plus, the mark of having my Holy Spirit in you is boldness to be a witness. Who can you witness to today? (1The 2:2)
  • Everyone who wants to live a godly life in me will be persecuted. They persecuted me, so they will persecute you. You must be prepared to endure suffering for my name's sake. I will always be with you, and empower you to withstand the attacks of the enemy, and turn what he meant for evil into good. But I need you to be faithful to me while you are going through it. (2Tim 3:12)
  • For Men

  • Husbands must love their wives sacrificially, in a way that will cost them something, especially their time. Love shouldn't be given only when it's convenient, with nothing else to do. They must make time for her, and not begrudge it. (Col 3:19)
  • Husbands must remember what first drew them to their wives, what made them love her. I call them to treat her as they did when they courted her, and not as though she is some type of obstacle that is blocking them from getting what then want. They need to come to me for all of their needs, and I will provide them. (Col 3:19)
  • For Women

  • I love you more than you will ever know on earth. But one day, you will come home to me, and you will experience the fullness of my love for you throughout eternity. (Joh 14:2)
  • Wives must not rage and battle against their husbands. If they want something, they must come to me in prayer, and asked me for it. I can change even Pharaoh's hard heart; so I can change their husband's heart as well. (Col 3:18)
  • You have stolen my heart, my bride, my church. I have waited throughout eternity for you, and soon we will be together. (Son 4:9)
  • Forgiveness

  • Always remember how much you have been forgiven, and that others deserve the same kind of forgiveness. You were no better than anyone else, but I forgave you. Accept others as I accepted you, knowing that they are as imperfect as you are in this world. (Col 3:13)
  • Our Father has rescued you from darkness and brought you into my kingdom, the kingdom of the son he loves. Remember the place from which he rescued you, and the price I paid to ransom you. That is how much we love you. (Col 1:13)
  • Contrary to popular belief, our Father is not an angry God waiting to destroy evil doers. He is compassionate, understanding the flaws and failures of men, and gracious, offering His own power to mankind so His followers can obey Him. Unlike man, He is very slow to become angry because he overflows with love for his creation. He longs for everyone to come to Him for salvation and doesn't want anyone to be separated from Him. Think on His loving-kindness toward you and spend time in praise for his mercy in your life. (Psa 103:8)
  • Giving

  • I have always sought to please our father and confess him before the world. Imitate me in this way, living as I did while walking on the earth. As a child mimics his parent or older sibling, mimic my dedication to our father, my continual communication with and praise for him. In what areas of your life do you need to act more like me? (1Tim 6:13)
  • Bless me by praising me with all of your heart, soul and strength. Praise my name because it is the name above all other names, and at my name, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that I am Lord. Remember all that I have done for you so far, and look ahead to my promises for your future, and praise me! (Psa 103:1)
  • Tell others about me wherever you go. Sing about me, talk about me, share pictures and videos about me. But most of all, live your life so that others can see me through your actions, words, and especially your gratitude for what I have done for you. (Col 3:16)
  • Grief

  • Our Father knows what His children are made of, both literally and figuratively. He formed you from the dust of the ground, as is proven by comparing the elements found in the earth's crust and your physical body. But more crucially, He understands your failings and flaws because I became a man and experienced every temptation and emotion you experience. I am the high priest that truly empathizes with your struggles, so come and share with me your heart's cries, knowing I truly understand. (Psa 103:14)
  • When you are tossed back and forth by your emotions, letting them determine what you will do, you cannot expect to learn and act on the truth. Your feelings change from moment to moment, so you can only trust my word. Listen to my spirit, trust him and obey, despite whatever your emotions say. (2Tim 3:7)
  • Although I know you want to be physically in my presence, I have need of you right where you are. I created you for a specific purpose, and until that purpose is completed, you need to stay where I put you. I will lead you and guide you as you remain in me until the day that I bring you home. (Phi 1:23)
  • Healing

  • Your patience with the suffering of others publicly sets you apart. People enduring illness often feel so vulnerable and isolated, fearful, exhausted and overwhelmed. They are rarely at their best, and it would be very easy to get annoyed with them. But I call you to go with them not only one mile, but two. Forgive their ill humor or bad mood that pushes everyone else away, and move closer - close enough to touch them with my selfless, endless love. (Gal 4:14)
  • The past has played its part in forming who you are in the natural, but it does not have to define who you are now or will be in the future. It is important to go back for a season to what happened to you so you may face it and be healed from it, but never stay chained to it. Once I reveal and begin healing you from it, leave it behind and stretch yourself to move forward, toward my future and my calling for you. (Phi 3:13)
  • Jonah could not stand the thought of me showing mercy to Israel's enemies, he wanted all of them to perish even though they were warned. I know the hurt your going through because of people in your past, I don't condone their actions, but I don't approve of your Judgements of them either. (Mat 5:44)
  • Heaven

  • I may not be standing next to you in bodily form every day, but it doesn't mean that I don't see everything that goes on in your life. I go with you wherever you go, so be careful where you take me. I ransomed you from hell and secured a place for you in heaven, so commit yourself to living a life that expresses your salvation through your lifestyle and your words. (Phi 2:12)
  • When in a position of power, it is easy to fall into the trap of taking advantage of others. But I demand that you be fair and good, so that those who work under you see me in you, and praise their father in Heaven for you. (Col 4:1)
  • Our Father loves to hear you call Him "Daddy." When you acknowledge that He is your Father in heaven, the One who loves you more than anyone else, who will provide for all of your needs and protect you, it allows you to move even closer to Him. It is healthy to be like a little child who wants to run to his Father, because He is a Father who never turns His children away. Run to Him now and spend time in His presence. (Gal 4:6)
  • Holiness

  • Your emotions can so often make you very vulnerable to attacks. When you are hurting or needy, agents of the enemy can prey on your weaknesses. When you are feeling empty, alone, or wanting excitement, your flesh is all too ready for you to indulge in sensual pleasure. Do not allow anyone to take advantage of you when you are like this, but protect yourself by constant prayer. (2Tim 3:6)
  • Do not allow the tempter to drag you away from your life of holiness and righteousness. If he can discourage you through your sin, and discredit you through ungodly actions, your labors could be in vain. Remember that others are watching you, so protect yourself from temptation. What is the greatest threat you face? (1The 3:5)
  • You are my witness, even to those you work with, including your employers and your clients. It is important that you be completely trustworthy, because this is how you can attract people to me. Always remember that you are my ambassador, and you represent me with every word you say and every action you take. Be honorable in everything you do. (Tit 2:10)
  • Hope

  • When I come in the clouds and return for you, I will bring with me those who have fallen asleep in death who believed in me. It will be the greatest reunion of all time. Death has no sting for believers, for they are, at most, temporarily separated from each other. Who do you look forward to seeing? (1The 4:14)
  • This world brings many things that bring fear. But even if the worst should happen, even if you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I am always with you, and I will always come through for you. I will always take care of you. (Psa 23:4)
  • It does not matter who you were before, or how bad you were, or how poorly you treated others. When you come to me, I wipe the slate clean spiritually, and everything becomes new. You become a new creation, in my image and for my pleasure. I can use even your past to bring my will to pass in your life and in the lives of others. Just trust me. (Gal 1:13)
  • Humility

  • You think that small disagreements between you and your brothers and sisters don't really mean much, but they create discord and disunity in my body. Unity doesn't always mean sharing the same ideas, but allowing others to have differing opinions. Sometimes you simply need to agree to disagree in order to keep the peace in the body. (Phi 4:2)
  • There will be times when I speak things to you that I do not want you to share with others. I simply want you to listen and obey. It will be a temptation for you to speak of it to others, in order to get their approval. But if I have spoken to you clearly, and you are sure of your purpose, simply surrender and obey. (Gal 1:17)
  • I want you to know every part of me, my power to overcome this world, my love for the Father and for everyone else. But that also includes knowing me in my death to my own desires, my subjecting myself in obedience to my Father in opposition to my natural will. Like me, you will learn obedience through what you suffer. That is also how you will experience the same power that resurrected me from the dead. (Phi 3:10)
  • Joy

  • People will learn everything they need to know about you by watching you. Your way of life must reflect my purpose for you, your faith in me, your patience with others, your love for me and others, and your willingness to endure hardship for my sake. You are my letter which I have written for all of the world to read. Live for Me. (2Tim 3:10)
  • When we created you, we created you for love, joy, peace, and fellowship with us. You were never intended to be separated from us. Your destiny is not to suffer wrath, but receive the many blessings that come with your salvation. How can I bless you now? (1The 5:9)
  • When I come in the clouds and return for you, I will bring with me those who have fallen asleep in death who believed in me. It will be the greatest reunion of all time. Death has no sting for believers, for they are, at most, temporarily separated from each other. Who do you look forward to seeing? (1The 4:14)
  • Judgement

  • Your relationships with others need to mirror the way I have relationships with people. I never thought of others as less than me, but treated them with respect. I let them know they were valuable to me, and served them out of genuine care for their welfare. I didn't wait for them to become worthy of my friendship; instead my love and friendship helped them heal and walk worthy of me. I need you to have my mindset when dealing with all people. (Phi 2:5)
  • Our father doesn't judge you the way that people do. They make up rules to make themselves feel like they are better than other people, like what people can eat or touch. But that is not from our father, who is more concerned with you expressing your faith in him through loving him and others. (Col 2:21)
  • Our Father knows how frail you are, how your flesh will always want to do whatever it wants, and that you continually face a battle against your own body, as well as self-centered thoughts and attitudes. He doesn't punish you for every sin, nor for your natural bent toward selfishness and rebellion. He loves you just as you are, and knows that, without His supernatural power in your life, you could never live for Him. So keep running back to Him in repentance, asking to be continually filled with His Spirit so you don't walk according to the flesh. (Psa 103:10)
  • Love

  • Many things can take you by surprise, but don't let them rock your world. Instead, make sure that you do not react, but that you strive to consistently act in love in every circumstance. That is how you live a life worthy of your calling. (Phi 1:27)
  • When you know me, trust me, and love me, keeping our father's commands becomes easy. That is because I and my spirit empower you to obey our Father, so you can live in victory. (1Joh 5:3)
  • Those who have been entrapped by the devil cannot be stolen from his grasp by the force of your words or your will. It will take gentle instruction and sincere love for them. It is my kindness that leads them to repentance, and is their only hope of coming to their senses and escaping the trap of the enemy. (2Tim 2:26)
  • Mercy

  • It is not enough to have kindly thoughts towards someone in need, to feel compassion for their situation and not to express it in a practical way. If you have the opportunity to do something about it, then do it. Remember that you are a part of a larger body, and you must take care of one another. Put yourself in their place and act as you would want someone else to act on your behalf. (Phi 4:10)
  • Our Father is worthy of your time being spent thinking and talking about how awesome He is. Let yourself be truly amazed at how massive and powerful He is, so it increases your faith in Him. The world has no problem speaking against His existence, or denying His power. So do not be ashamed to publicly extol His goodness and loving-kindness, faithfulness and mercy through your words, and more importantly, your actions. (Psa 103:1)
  • Jonah could not stand the thought of me showing mercy to Israel's enemies, he wanted all of them to perish even though they were warned. I know the hurt your going through because of people in your past, I don't condone their actions, but I don't approve of your Judgements of them either. (Mat 5:44)
  • MY PRIVATE MESSAGES ONLY

    Obedience

  • Do not be enslaved to anything of this world or of the enemy; only be a voluntary slave to me. Everything you do outside my will is wasted effort, for it does not further the plan of our Father. Kingdom purposes alone produce the works that will last throughout eternity. Listen to and obey my Spirit, and He will guide you into ways to make an everlasting difference in this world. (Rom 6:18)
  • Consistently and purposely continue in prayer to our father in my name. Do it at a time when you can focus and be alert. Make sure your prayers are filled with thanksgiving as well as requests for your needs. (Col 4:2)
  • Are you feeling like you are going around in circles, working on the same lessons over and over again? That happens when you slowly slip from moment by moment communion with and trust in me to trying to figure out and power through everything going on in your life in your own puny strength. Return to me in faith, and everything will eventually fall into place according to my will and original plan. What area of your life has become futile? (Gal 3:4)
  • Patience

  • I want you to be fully mature, so you must learn about me, not only by reading what I have said, but by listening to what I am now saying to you personally. Dig in a little deeper when reading my word, and don't be in such a rush to leave me. Remember that you become like the people that you spend the most time with. (Col 1:28)
  • You don't need to worry about me losing patience with you. I love you, and know your heart is to do the right thing. Talk to me about what's going on with you right now. (1Cor 13:4)
  • Why do you struggle and have problems with anger? It's only because you want something that you cannot have, and God is not giving it to you in your timing. You are tempted to go around God to get it for yourself, so you are aggravated. Don't take it out on other people, but wait patiently for me to bring you what you need in my timing. (Jam 4:1)
  • Peace

  • When you doubt my presence in your life, or that I exist, search within yourself and let my spirit comfort you. If my spirit lives in you, then you live in me and my father. (1Joh 4:13)
  • Sometimes, you find your mind wandering toward thoughts of "what if" and "if only". If you will just turn your thoughts back to our Father's proven faithfulness, and rest in His care for you and His ability to handle every situation, you will find such peace. If you will quietly commit to complete trust in Him, you will find the strength you need to continue going. (Isa 30:15)
  • Be careful of people who have an unhealthy interest in controversies, who quarrel about particular words, and who stir up envy, strife, evil speaking and suspicions toward others. If you find them often in the midst of friction between people, stay far away from them. You are called to bring peace wherever you go, so do not seek out trouble or those who cause it. (1Tim 6:4)
  • Power

  • Today, our father and I want to fill you with all of our power so you may accomplish what we ask of you today. We also want you to be filled with my peace that passes all understanding, which comes from unwavering trust that I will take care of everything that is important to you. We will provide for you everything you need for life and godliness today. (Tit 1:4)
  • The Father never meant for you to live by a list of laws that you don't have the power to obey. His choice was to personally instruct and empower you to live for him. But man would rather try to earn salvation by following laws in their own strength. So God left those laws in place to show men how unrighteous they would remain without him, until I came to remind the world that righteousness has always only come through faith. Trust in my Spirit to empower you to fulfill the righteousness of the law and you will never be condemned for failure to obey the letter of every law. (Gal 3:19)
  • The more time you spend with us, the more you will get to know our characteristics and personality. We reveal ourselves to you personally through the Word, through your experiences with us, and seeing us work in the lives of others. We want to make ourselves known to you, so you can confidently rest in the knowledge of our trustworthiness and power when things don't seem to make sense or go your way. Find time for us today. (Psa 103:7)
  • Praise and Worship

  • While others are busy complaining about what's wrong at work, I want you to stand out from the crowd with a great attitude. Give thanksgiving and praise for what is good, and do not join the throng in bad mouthing. Speaking negatively does not bring me glory, or lead others to me. (Col 3:23)
  • Pray all the time. I don't necessarily mean stopping, kneeling and closing your eyes. I mean talk to me all throughout the day. I'm always with you, just waiting for you to communicate with me, and wanting to communicate with you as well. (1The 5:17)
  • Anyone who professes to worship God should have a life that is adorned with good deeds. Having a personal faith means nothing if it is not expressed to the outside world. Your faith should be expressed in self-sacrificial acts of kindness toward others. What good deed can you do today? (1Tim 2:10)
  • Prayer

  • Always be on guard against those who would try to block the message about me. You cannot do anything in the natural, so you must wage this war on your knees. Pray that my word would be preached throughout the nations, and that many would be saved through it's hearing. (2Tim 4:15)
  • The enemy may try to block your way as you work for my kingdom and my purposes. But he does not have the last say, for our father counteracts everything the prince of this world does, so that His will and Kingdom reign supreme. What do you want the father to move for you today? (1The 2:18)
  • When a child doesn't like the answer they receive from their parent, they have a habit of asking the same question over and over again. Sometimes you are like that, too; I say "no" or "not yet", but you continue to ask in hopes I will change my mind. I know you don't like it when I don't immediately answer your prayers in the affirmative, and that you sometimes get angry with me for it. But you need to trust that I know what is best. Outside of my timing, your requests will not satisfy you, nor will they fulfill the will of God. (Gal 4:16)
  • Pride

  • Although you carry with you my authority everywhere you go, I do not want you to be puffed up with pride. I don't want you acting like you are better than anyone else, or more mature. Instead become as a young child, accepting others as greater than yourself, and loving them. Is there any attitude for which you need to repent? (1The 2:7)
  • There are those who oppose and ridicule the truth of my word. Their minds are depraved, and they reject knowledge of me. But it is not long before they expose themselves for the foolish people they are. Let me deal with them, and do not try to change their mind. Stay far away from them. (2Tim 3:9)
  • Everything you have accomplished on your own is basically worthless in and to the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those things that are inspired by and carried through by my Spirit will last - everything else will pass away. Until you consider as loss everything you do apart from me, you will still wander away, expending your energy pointlessly. Make sure you are listening to and obeying my words only. (Phi 3:7)
  • Purpose

  • My purpose for you is to be my servant, leading others to the knowledge of me, so they will trust in me. Their faith will allow me to come and live inside of them by my spirit, so that they can live a godly life. You lead the charge to bring the hope of eternal life to a lost and dying world around you. (Tit 1:1)
  • I am your great reward. I am the home to which you will come when you finally lay aside this body and the trappings of this world. Press on, keep moving forward, despite the resistance you experience, until you can wrap your arms around me and claim for yourself the prize for which you have worked so hard - me. (Phi 3:14)
  • You have been chosen to know me, above all other peoples. You are mine, so I have placed my spirit within you and I am in you always. My spirit is transforming you into my image, which is your hope of being glorified, made just like me. (Col 1:26)
  • Rejection

  • Don't be surprised when people who don't know me don't care for you. But you still need to love them as I love them. I will help you to love them. Just ask me. (1Joh 3:13)
  • When the father and I found you, there was nothing in you that justified you being a part of our kingdom. But we made you righteous by my blood sacrifice for your sins, which in turn made you worthy to be adopted as a child of God. And know that, when you suffer for being a Christian, you are proving your worthiness to be called a Christian. Stand firm for me, and I will deal with those that cause you suffering. (2The 1:5)
  • There will be times when you feel as though everyone has deserted you, and no one came to support you in your time of need. But I command you not to hold this against them. Every person has their own path that they must walk, and although their paths may cross yours for a season, few will remain on the road with you. Let them and the hurt go. (2Tim 4:16)
  • Repentance

  • Those who have been entrapped by the devil cannot be stolen from his grasp by the force of your words or your will. It will take gentle instruction and sincere love for them. It is my kindness that leads them to repentance, and is their only hope of coming to their senses and escaping the trap of the enemy. (2Tim 2:26)
  • Everyone wants to be loved and accepted, but it cannot be the focus of your life. The only approval you should strive for is mine. Everyone else's approval is fickle and temporary at best, loving and giving to you only when it best suits them. My approval is eternal, so love and serve me only, and let me bring to you the people who will love and accept you as I do. (Gal 1:10)
  • The gospel is not a man-made story. I am real, I am true, and am perfectly able to reveal myself to you and others in power. Whether or not they will believe, accept, and live for me is another thing, but do not doubt that I can prove my word to be true to those who are seeking me. Simply continue to live for and direct people to me. I will do the rest. (Gal 1:11)
  • Righteousness

  • Do not allow the tempter to drag you away from your life of holiness and righteousness. If he can discourage you through your sin, and discredit you through ungodly actions, your labors could be in vain. Remember that others are watching you, so protect yourself from temptation. What is the greatest threat you face? (1The 3:5)
  • Road signs don't magically enable you to keep the speed limit. You can still drive as fast as you desire. The sign only reminds you that you will have to deal with the negative consequences of your disobedience. Only the Holy Spirit can can put a desire in your heart to do what is right and make it easy to obey the law. So live by faith in God, and He will supernaturally empower you to do what the law requires without having to pay attention to the law. (Gal 3:21)
  • Don't go back to checklists, trying to do things that you think will earn favor with us. You inherited all of the Father's favor when you placed your faith in me. Don't let legalism and pressure to follow men's rules pull you away from a life lived in pure faith in me, empowered by my grace, and led by my Spirit indwelling you. Listen for my words, and I will tell you what is right. (Gal 5:2)
  • Salvation

  • I have appointed you as my personal messenger to tell others about me. Your changed life is a miraculous sign to others proving that what you say is true. Teach them what you know and don't worry about what you don't yet know. Just bring them one step closer to me - I will do the rest. (2Tim 1:11)
  • Remember always that you are a Child of the Light, and since you belong to the day, keep your eyes open and your wits about you. Protect your heart by continually entrusting it to me, and loving our father and others as I have loved you. Always keep the hope of your salvation in the forefront of your mind, to protect your thoughts. In what area is your faith wavering or your thoughts wandering? (1The 5:8)
  • If you believe nothing else, always remember that I came into the world to save sinners. It doesn't matter how bad you were, or are, because sin is why I came to earth. But now that I have come, and you have received me, sin has no place in your life. Remember where you came from, and all I have done for you, and live for me today. (1Tim 1:15)
  • Security

  • Stand firm in me. Everything else around you can be a whirlwind of change. However, I remain the same, I am your rock, steady and secure. I am the only thing you can be sure of. So rest in my promises, and remain firm in your commitment and surrender to me. (Phi 4:1)
  • Our father is a God of kept promises. He is faithful to fulfill his word to those who believe him. His inheritance for his children is every spiritual blessing he has to give, as well as his provision and his protection. You can't earn an inheritance - it rightfully belongs to the offspring. In the same way, you can't earn all he wants to give to you by obeying the law, it is yours simply because you belong to him. Rest in his promises today. (Gal 3:18)
  • I call you to come to me, listen to me, trust me and in faith, obey me. That is the covenant between you and I. You entrust yourself and everything that is important to you unto my care, and I, in turn, provide for and protect you. I have everything you need for life and godliness, but it is up to you to stay filled with my Spirit and close to me so you can access all of the gifts I so long to give you. What in your life is pulling you away from me? (Psa 103:18)
  • Servanthood

  • I created you for a purpose, with my plan in mind. You can ignore and avoid that purpose, but it is STILL your purpose. It is up to you to pursue and dedicate yourself to that purpose - I cannot do that part for you. So press on to take hold of the very thing for which you were made. (Phi 3:12)
  • Praise our Father in Heaven, as do all the heavenly host. The elders, the angels, and all creation give Him the honor due Him as the Creator. However, the greatest act of praise is submission to His will, surrender of yourself by laying yourself upon the altar of God as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God. Serve Him out of true love, and the praise of your mouth will match the praise of your life lived for Him. (Psa 103:21)
(Gal 1:18)
  • Sin

  • What you know about me isn't meant to be kept to yourself. The point of the gospel is to share it, and for it to spread like wildfire around those who know me. I know that your faith is personal, but the eternal fate of those you meet every day can be changed forever simply by you sharing what you have learned about me. Who can you share with today? (2The 3:1)
  • Do not think that God is blind to those who persecute and reject his children. But remember that they are still part of his beloved creation, and though he hates their sins, he loves them and wants them to become adopted as children of God. Have you been experiencing feelings of rejection from anyone? (1The 2:15)
  • I am the way, the truth, and the life. You are to reflect me at all times. Therefore do not lie, even small white lies, because you will begin to resemble the enemy instead of me. (Col 3:9)
  • Strength

  • For those who belong to me, there is no place for criticism of others in your thoughts or your speech. Be committed to love one another and be considerate of each others' feelings. Rid yourself of thoughts and attitudes that rob you and others of peace, and be gentle toward people. But you can't do this in your own strength - you will have to surrender to my Spirit in order for this to happen. (Tit 3:2)
  • Everything I ask you to do, I promise to do through you if you will surrender to my spirit' s leading and power. The energy you need to fight off the world and to live victoriously for me will work powerfully in you. So use up every bit of that energy to serve and obey me. (Col 1:29)
  • How you live has a great influence on the people around you. How you act shows how powerful God's strength is in you. Seek to faithfully minister to those around you by living for me and sacrificially loving others. (Col 1:7)
  • Submission

  • I can use all things, good and bad, to bring me glory. I can use the past of a person who did not believe, or who was cruel against believers, to accomplish my purpose. The transformation of a soul from angry and belligerent to loving and submissive is one of my greatest tools for bringing others to me. Do not give up hope for that one person for whom you keep praying. (Gal 1:23)
(Gal 1:18)
  • Those who minister on my behalf full-time are deserving of financial and material support. They take care of your spiritual needs, oversee your souls and trust me to provide for their needs. I will use you and my provision in your life to help provide for them. Don't ever think for one moment that you have earned your money apart from my favor. So spend your money as I direct you as well. (Phi 4:16)
  • Suffering

  • It doesn't matter what you see on the outside of yourself - your body was never meant to last forever. It is of use when you utilize it on behalf of me, being my hands and feet, but eventually it will wear out. So focus on the part of you that will live eternally - your spirit and soul - which is continuously regenerated into my likeness day by day. (2Cor 4:16)
(Phi 3:10)
  • When you remain faithful to me, even in the worst of circumstances, you open up opportunities for even the most hard-hearted people around you to be broken and turn to me. Honor me with your attitude and your words, even when things go wrong, and I will move in the life of those around you. You may never see the results, but reaping the harvest is my responsibility - yours is to sow seeds through your obedience. (Phi 1:13)
  • Temptation

  • Be careful of your natural desires and affections, because they can become your God. Anything that consumes your thoughts can become an idol. Commit yourself to get rid of your selfish thoughts and actions. (Col 3:5)
  • Stand firm and hold fast to the teachings I have shared with you, whether through the scriptures in the Bible, or the whispering of the Holy Spirit directly to you. Life in this world can become so confusing, because everyone has an opinion and something to say. But you must always place my word above every other conversation, and compare everything to my truth. (2The 2:15)
  • I understand your temptations much better than you think I do. But don't fall into that trap. You've got to stay in love with me, not the world. (1Joh 2:15)
  • Thanksgiving

  • When you remember all I have done for you, where I have brought you out from, and how much I love you, it should result in overflowing gratitude. You should also feel compassion for those who are now where you were before you met me. Be patient, kind, and merciful to them as I have been to you. (Col 3:12)
  • Tell others about me wherever you go. Sing about me, talk about me, share pictures and videos about me. But most of all, live your life so that others can see me through your actions, words, and especially your gratitude for what I have done for you. (Col 3:16)
  • The greatest gift you can have on this earth is contentment with what you have. If you are living in a way that pleases me, and you have the necessities of life, that is enough for you. Be grateful for every single thing that I have provided for you, and do not focus on what you do not have, because that will lead you into bitterness, anger, and envy. Has your focus been drifting lately? (1Tim 6:6)
  • Unity

  • You think that small disagreements between you and your brothers and sisters don't really mean much, but they create discord and disunity in my body. Unity doesn't always mean sharing the same ideas, but allowing others to have differing opinions. Sometimes you simply need to agree to disagree in order to keep the peace in the body. (Phi 4:2)
  • Discord in the body of Christ can undermine what I want to accomplish. If you know that there are members who have problems with each other, and those issues will affect the unity of the body, then leadership needs to address those issues. You are all called to the ministry of reconciliation, which includes bringing people together on account of the Gospel. They don't need to agree on everything, only agree to set aside their differences in order to serve me better. (Phi 4:3)
  • Victory

  • When you face trials and suffering, you have one weapon that no one can take away. It is the fact that you personally know who I am. You have experienced that I am trustworthy and keep my promises, and that I am faithful to take care of you and everything that is important to you. Remind yourself constantly of the ways that I have proved myself to you. (2Tim 1:12)
  • Be careful of your natural desires and affections, because they can become your God. Anything that consumes your thoughts can become an idol. Commit yourself to get rid of your selfish thoughts and actions. (Col 3:5)
  • You know me, you know my thoughts, and you know my actions. Walk as I walk, and you will remain clean. (1Joh 1:7)
  • Wisdom

  • There are those who oppose and ridicule the truth of my word. Their minds are depraved, and they reject knowledge of me. But it is not long before they expose themselves for the foolish people they are. Let me deal with them, and do not try to change their mind. Stay far away from them. (2Tim 3:9)
  • Beware of people who believe they know everything about me and the father. People who repeatedly talk about themselves and what they know and have done are looking to glorify themselves. Take no notice of what they say - simply pray that they return to me in meekness and humility. (Col 2:18)
  • If you are not sure about something, don't worry about that. We will make that clear to you in due time. If it is a subject of debate between you and someone else, do not feel you have to prove you are right or have all the answers. I will reveal what needs to be known at the right time to the right people. Trust me in this. (Phi 3:15)
  • Witnessing

  • I have chosen you to minister to very specific people. You don't need to know ahead of time who they are, you just need to listen to my still small voice and follow my lead. Do not fall into the trap of feeling inferior because you are not reaching some people the way others do - my plan for your life is distinct from theirs. Just be faithful to do as I instruct you. (Gal 2:7)
  • You never know who is listening when you are speaking. The person in the booth behind you at the restaurant, the lady in the grocery line. Your conversation always reflects on me, so always be careful about what you say. (Col 4:6)
(Phi 1:13)
  • Worry

  • I am breathing peace upon you. I give my peace to you so you will have it with you in every situation, dealing with every person. It is always available for you through my Holy Spirit - just surrender to Him, and trust the Father and I to take care of what is important to you. Do not let your heart be troubled over anything - trust in me and be surrounded with my peace. (Joh 14:27)
  • When you feel like you are sinking, I will pull you up. I will draw you out of the deep waters of hurt and depression and fear and pull you to myself. You are mine, and I will always protect you. Just call out my name. (Psa 18:16)
  • Whoever comes to me, I will keep with me forever. I will not cast them away from me. So you are safe with me if you have entrusted yourself to my care. Rest in my faithfulness. (Joh 6:37)
